Yoga is powerful because it’s portable

You can practice just about anywhere.

All you need is a few square feet of space.

When traveling, I try to seek out local studios to find a good space to practice.

But of course, life doesn’t always let me be as disciplined as I want to be. Between my delayed flights and jet lag and staying in remote locations, there isn’t always an ideal oasis of yoga peace with incense and eucalyptus eye blankets waiting for me to put down my mat.

And so, sometimes the hotel room floor will just have to do. Imperfect, but it’s better than doing nothing.

We just plop down on the carpet, cue the tape of instructors from yoga past and have a nice little practice.

Proving, that we carry our yoga with us, everywhere we go.

What excuse are you using not to do your daily practice?
