Build your fountain of resilience.

Yoga is tough. There’s no doubt about it.

It’s tough on our bodies, tough on our minds, and if we practice with any kind of regularity, it’s tough on our schedule.

But the more we practice, the more we discover that yoga is also a fountain of resilience that keeps us afloat when times get tough.

Kind of like right now. With the economic and health crisis going on, now more than ever we need this practice.

With every pose we explore, we build up greater physical, emotional and spiritual structures to put order into the chaos that our lives have recently become.

Thinking back to all my many conflicts and injuries and addictions and workplace stresses and relationship problems over the years, thank goodness yoga was there for me. Thank goodness yoga allowed me to call upon whatever reserves of strength and faith were left to push through to the other side.

Without it, who knows how poorly I might have handled those tough situations.

We know with the current quarantine, you may be feeling hot and tired and irritated, struggling to balance your changing life.

Just remember. Yoga is tough, but life is tougher.

How are you building a fountain of resilience?
