The seasons are changing, and so are each of us. It’s always a good time to start a hobby, especially one that contributes to a mindful lifestyle. Yoga doesn’t have to take up most of your time, and it may add more to your life if you let it. Whether this is your first time doing yoga or you have practiced it before yet you never continued with it, this is for you.
Like many hobbies, there are different levels of intensity. In yoga, this means beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. So, don’t worry, yoga is very beginner friendly, which means yoga is for YOU!
Like anything new, you are going to be doing something different. Some poses will come naturally to you, while others will practice a little more. These ten easy yoga poses may be a great start for you:

can practice this at any time of the day. So, whether standing in line at the grocery store or at work, be mindful of what you are doing and exhale.

By practicing this sitting pose, you can manage stress, improve postural awareness, strengths your back, and more. So, why practice Easy pose? With this pose, you’ll be sitting easily and in no time, you’ll be able to practice longer than when you started.
Child’s Pose
Like mountain pose and easy pose, child’s pose is easy too. While practicing this pose, you can look forward to stretching your back and stretching muscles around your hips. Some benefits of doing this pose are releasing tension through the back, shoulders, and chest, helping with stress and anxiety, and lengthening the spine.
Legs up the Wall
Legs up the wall are also easy to do. This pose can be done anywhere between two and three minutes. Some benefits include a calm mind, alleviating tired legs, relieving foot and leg cramps, it helps with backaches, and more. Why practice this? It’s a great way to end the day.
Corpse Pose
This restorative pose is so easy you may fall asleep. Whether you practice this on the mat, on your carpet, or in your bed, you’ll be conditioning your body to release stress. You are releasing one thought, muscle, and body part at a time. So not only will you practice mindfulness in this pose, but good sleeping habits as well.
No matter how old you are or your relationship with yoga, these five poses are some of the easiest to practice while getting started. So, which one do you want to try first? Don’t forget to consult your doctor first; if something doesn’t feel right, stop immediately.
